What Cleaning Products Does Every Pakistani Home Actually Need?
Most homes need five things on rotation: a dishwash liquid for the kitchen, a phenyl or floor cleaner for daily mopping, a toilet cleaner for the bathroom, a laundry detergent, and a handwash by the sink. That covers 90% of the cleaning that actually happens in a week.
Cuts through the oil and masala residue that Pakistani cooking leaves behind on plates and pots. Rs. 1,100.
Whitooz (Rs. 999) is your everyday toilet cleaner. Acidlt Red Sweep (Rs. 599) is the stronger, acid-based option for limescale and hard water stains — don't use the two together, and never mix any acid-based cleaner with bleach.
A 1000ml bottle of concentrated phenyl for daily mopping. Rs. 699. A little goes a long way — you're diluting this in a bucket of water, not pouring it neat.
Bubblezz (Rs. 1,499) is a liquid detergent for everyday washing. Bleachit (Rs. 499) is a colour-safe bleach, meant to lift stains without fading colour the way plain chlorine bleach does.
Rs. 1,199. Meant for daily use at the sink, not a one-time deep clean product.
Why People in Karachi Buy from Alkemico
Most local cleaning brands give you a product name, a price, and a picture. That's not enough when you're putting something on the surfaces your family eats off or the water your clothes sit in.
We Tell You How to Actually Use the Product
Every product page gives exact usage and dilution amounts — not just "apply and rinse."
Phenyl and detergent are concentrates. Using too much doesn't clean better; it wastes money and leaves residue.
Free Delivery on Orders Over Rs. 2,000
Spend Rs. 2,000 or more and delivery is free, anywhere in Karachi.
Under that, message us on WhatsApp — we confirm the delivery charge before you order. Full details on our Shipping Policy page.
Priced for a Real Household Budget
Our range runs Rs. 499 to Rs. 1,499 — not positioned against imported premium brands.
Built for the household buying cleaning supplies every month, not once a year.
Are Alkemico Cleaning Products Safe to Use at Home?
Used as directed, yes — but "as directed" matters more with cleaning chemicals than people usually think. A few rules apply to almost any household cleaner, not just ours:
- Never mix an acid-based cleaner (like Acidlt) with a bleach-based product (like Bleachit). The reaction can release harmful fumes.
- Keep phenyl and toilet cleaners away from children and pets — store them closed, up high, not under the sink.
- Ventilate the room when mopping with phenyl. The smell fades once the floor dries.
- Do a small patch test before using any new surface cleaner on a delicate or coloured surface for the first time.
If you're not sure whether a product is right for a specific surface, message us on WhatsApp before you use it.
Cleaning Products for Karachi Homes
We're not writing this from a head office in another city. Our setup is in Mehran Town, Korangi — inside Korangi Industrial Area, next to Bilal Colony, close to the refinery. We deal with the same water and dust everyone else here does. Read more about who we are, or see our Korangi local page for directions and delivery area.
The Water Here Isn't Simple
Many homes, including in Mehran Town, rely on tankers, not steady municipal supply.
That changes how soap and detergent behave — less lather, more residue. That's why our product pages include dilution guides.
Dust Doesn't Take a Day Off
Karachi is dusty enough, and it's worse near industrial Korangi. Wipe a counter in the morning, there's a film again by evening.
A surface cleaner and a daily wipe-down beats a deep clean once a week.
Eid and Monsoon: Everyone Cleans Harder
Before Eid, most households do a top-to-bottom clean. During monsoon, damp corners and bathroom tiles need extra attention. Stock up on phenyl and toilet cleaner before both.

Eco-Friendly, Without the Premium Price Tag
"Eco-friendly" usually gets sold as a premium feature in Pakistan — pay double, get a green label. Our formulas break down after use, and we keep fragrance and colouring to what's needed, not piled on to mask a harsh chemical smell. See our eco-friendly cleaning guide for what that actually means.
Bulk & Wholesale for Businesses
Korangi Industrial Area, where we're based, is one of the largest industrial zones in Pakistan. If you're buying for a restaurant, office or shop, we do bulk pricing on phenyl, surface cleaner and detergent — email alkemicopakistan@gmail.com, or see our bulk and wholesale pricing page.
